I am Giorgos Lillis

I recently completed my Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of Peloponnese
My coursework and my standout projects covered programming languages like C, Java, and Python, along with computer networks and a basic introduction to embedded systems.
Outside the university curriculum, I have developed a strong understanding of web development.
Focus on website development using technologies like HTML5, CSS3 with Bootstrap framework, JavaScript, Typescript, React, Prisma and Node.js.

Built and deployed this portfolio itself as a full-stack application: a TypeScript back-end running on Vercel serverless functions, a PostgreSQL database via Prisma, Redis for caching and rate-limiting, and JWT-based authentication.
Turned the weather forecast into an installable app with daily push notifications for tomorrow's forecast. You can install it by the browser, if it supports it (Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers).
I have gained a solid understanding of back-end and database management principles through PHP and MySQL.
As you may see on my Github page I gave a try to a variety of languages. The purpose is to encourage myself to take on different kind of challenges, supporting a well-rounded understanding of programming principles.
Completed a 4-month internship at NetPlanet as a Web Developer

Actively looking for my first full-time role as a web or software developer.
Continuing to deepen my practical experience with TypeScript, React, and back-end/database design through projects like this one.
Open to roles that let me keep growing across the full stack.

The career path I am looking for back-end development, specifically API or database development.
I am also open to exploring other areas of technology and software development.
